I’d like to call her a fake.
I thought of blogging about her after reading and article in which Angela Seneviratne gives her a bit of a lashing in W@W, the magazine that comes free with the Daily Mirror. It seems that dear Anal (choke!) is a snobby, self-obsessed spoilt brutess, if I may be politically correct. It seems that Anal (heehee!) hosted a beauty pageant on Derana, what else is new, anyway as I was saying, beauty pageant hostess Anal (I just love saying that!) was very huffy and puffy to Angela and was very rude to her.
The above paragraph was meant to clear any doubts about a well known writer looking down upon the high and mighty Anal (kkkkkkkrkrkrkr……!)
Anarkali Akarsha is probably the worst actress Sri Lanka, and (obviously) the world, has seen because only in a country like ours can her non-existent acting career exist. Every movie she acts in gets an excellent overall review but an excruciatingly bad but truthful one on her. Where else can a woman who can’t even speak the language the movie’s been filmed in can have an acting career? The Maldives? I heard someone say that her acting s like that of a 90 year-old woman………
Any tv show or music chart that Anal 
appears in only survives because of guys who don’t have internet………………
Any foreigner would laugh, and they must be laughing, at the site of local boys going head over heels for her. What else do they have to do besides protesting?
Anal, when will you grow up and leave the Sri Lankan radio waves alone?

I was very impressed a couple of weeks back when I saw her show ‘Anarkelli Live” two weeks back.
The presentation was lively and amusing. She seems to have a gift for hamming and seems to enjoy it.
The chatter was pretty vacuous but amusing anyway. It was good entertainment while working out in the gym.
But haven’t you noticed that she accentuates her Sinhala.
Speaking English with a fake accent is quite common in Sri Lanka, but Sinhala……
Come on, she can do a bit better……….

I definitely don’t know anything about her as a person… we all go by what we see in T.V, press etc…. She sure does irritate us to the core!! in almost everything she does!
Maybe she’s this way coz of a ‘want’ she always had and is now fulfilling it… Maybe this is what she thought was the best way to be famous..who knows!
One thing for sure…where else can you find these weird things…other than in ‘the land like no other’..:-)
Sometimes I also wonder what actually draws some people towards her too…. Anywayz… lets hope she learns someday…and changes for her own good…Afterall it is her life ain’t it?..let her live the way she wants to…

I agree with you, she should learn something from what we’ve all said and done about her…….she’s a well known personality good or bad, so she should try her utmost to come back down to earth

Anarkali Akarsha probably has the worst looking face of out the cast on today’s SriLankan TV.She is constantly seen attractive only because of her chubby curvy body and those two cans which she sure knows how to hang out well,and her face just isn’t important to most male population in Sri Lanka. To be honest, her face reminds me of a little chimp and i am sure there are many people out there who agree with me on that. oh and that blonde straight hair draping on that face brings a much horrid picture to my mind, try imagining “a little chimp with a blonde wig” oh god i dont care how HOT HOT HOT her body is, her faked up expressions and face just NOT NOT NOT.She is trying to be the “Paris Hilton” of Sri Lanka with that snobbish, arrogant,fake smile and talk, which is’nt doing her any good in her what ever career she is pursuing, god knows what it is!!
How true……..wonder what lover boy Duminda is doing right now…..
